This is a re-imagination. I remember finding this song, I don't know how, in Peru (it's typical of some of the more dime-a-dozen Peruvian Cumbia tracks you might hear on a bus or outside of a restaurant).

But it grew on me...it seemed to say something so simple and have this dark and expansive magic that I couldn't lose. When I got to working on the album, it said everything I needed to...I just wanted it to feel different.
